A light versatile Cardigan featuring overlap- ping angled front, with a delicate slip stitch and garter patterned border. The body fea- tures a turned split hem, complimented by a turned hem on the three-quarter length sleeves. The look is completed with a slightly gathered sleeve cap and versatile front pockets.

Yarn
Yarn 1: Shibui Pebble 48% recycled silk, 36% fine merino, 16% cashmere 224 yds / 205 m per 25 g skein
6 ([6, 7, 7] [8, 8, 9]) skeins.
Yarn 2: Shibui Silk Cloud (optional) 60% kid mohair, 40% silk 330 yds / 300 m per 25 g skein 4 ([4, 5, 5] [6, 6, 6]) skeins

The sample is knit holding one strand of each yarn together throughout. You may also opt to use only use Yarn 1 to match gauge.

Gauge

22 sts & 34 rows = 4" in stockinette st using larger needle after blocking.

Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Needles & Tools

3.5 mm / US 4 and 3.75 / US 5 needle Or size to obtain gauge

Markers (m), removable markers, waste yarn for provisional cast on, tapestry needle.

Construction Notes
This cardigan is knit in pieces from bottom up and seamed. The lower edge is cast on with a provisional cast on and knit together with the body to produce a turned hem. The angled fronts overlap by approximately 3" and feature full fashioned shoulders. The 3/4 length, set-in sleeves also feature a tuned hem. There are small-integrated pockets on the front.
